✓ JanaTamil� is the name of a font - a type face in Tamil Script to be used for composing text in Tamil language. It has been designed in Open Type format and as an �O.S� font (operating system font) for Indix, using Bhartiya Shaping Engine. This version is called JanaTamil 0.99.1 and is a non-hinted text face. JanaTamil letters have less contrast in thick & thin strokes and are added with characteristic serifs on sides of vertical and horizontal lines. JanaTamil is recommended to be used for continuous text in Minimum 14pt. size (on screen) and 10pt size (on paper).

How to install JanaTamil in your computer?

For Windows 7 / Vista users:
- Right-click the JanaTamil font file(s) and choose "Install".

For users of the previous Windows versions:
- Copy JanaTamil font & pest into a default Windows font folder (usually C:\WINDOWS\FONTS or C:\WINNT\FONTS)

For Mac users:
Mac OS X 10.3 or above (including the FontBook)
- Double-click JanaTamil font file and hit "Install font" button at
the bottom of the preview.

Mac OS X
- Either copy the JanaTamil font file(s) to /Library/Fonts (for all users), or to /Users/Your_username/Library/Fonts (for you only).

Mac OS 9 or earlier
- You have to convert the JanaTamil font file(s) you have downloaded. Drag the font suitcases into the System folder. The system will propose you to add them to the Fonts folder
