As an initial, except in some Sanscrit words, as பலம், pronounced balam, it has the sound of P; also as a medial when doubled, or following ட் or ற், as அப்பொழுது, நுட்பம், கற்பு. &c. To charm, fascinate, allure, attract, மயக்க. 5. To deceive, circumvent, misrepresent--as in selling goods, வஞ்சிக்க. 6. To menace, bully, hector, threaten, in order to affect an object, அமட்ட. போசனம்பண்ணினபின்பு பகட்டிவாந்தி பண்ணி னான். After he has eaten he loathed, and vomited, the food. தூக்கம்பகட்டுகிறது.
