iṟu (p. 57) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To pay a debt, or tax, to liquidate, discharge debts, கடன்செலுத்த. 2. To strain, pour off, to allow a liquid to percolate, leaving a sediment, grain, boiled rice, &c., to decant, வடிக்க. 4. (p.) To break a branch, a bow, &c.; to snap asunder, ஒடிக்க. 5. v. n. To abide, stay, tarry, தங்க. 6. To arrive at, reach, சேர. 7. To answer, say in reply, விடைகூற. இறுத்துத்தொலைக்க, inf. To discharge, to pay off. தண்டமிறுக்க, inf. To pay a fine. கடனிறுத்தல், v. noun.
