iluppai (p. 55) s. [prop. இருப்பை.] Long-leaved Bassia, Illoopy, ஓர்மரம், Bassia longifolia. ஆலையில்லாவூருக்கு இலுப்பைப்பூச்சருக்கரை.... Where there is no sugar-press, the flower of the Illoopy will pass for sugar; i. e. the want of delicacies should make one content with common food. இலுப்பெண்ணெய், s.
