A religious festival, a great or special day, a holy day. திருநீலகண்டன், s. A large kind of centiped, ஓர்பூரான். 2. One of the sixtythree devotees of Siva, சிவனடியாரிலொரு வன். 3. A very wicked man. திருநீறு, s. (also விபூதி.) Sacred ashes of burnt cowdung, one of the chief marks of the Saiva sect. திருநீறணிய--திருநீறிட--திருநீறுபூச, inf. To rub sacred ashes on the forehead, breast, &c. திருநீறுசுட--திருநீறுவிளைவிக்க, inf. To make sacred ashes. திருநீற்றுக்காப்பு, s. A long cloth on which offerings of rice are presented to idols. திருப்புகழ், s. Songs, odes in praise of a god. திருப்பூட்டு, v. noun.
