A tree, the milk of whose seeds is pungent and caustic, and being indelible, is used in marking, சேங் கொட்டைமரம், Semicarpus anacardium. எரியவிழிக்க, inf. To look fiercely having the eyes flaming with rage, கோ பத்தோடுபார்க்க. எரிவண்டு, s. The Mylabris or blistering beetle, ஓர்வகைவண்டு. 2. oḷ (p. 84) adj. Good, excellent, நல்ல. 2. Beautiful, அழகுள்ள. 3. Bright, glittering, luminous, பிரகாசமான. 4. Knowing, அறிவுள்ள. 5. Abundant, மிகுதியான. The ள் of this word is changed into ட் and ண் before appropriate letters, whence the nouns ஒட்பம், and ஒண்மை. ஒள்ளழல்கண்ணிற்கால. His eyes emitting bright sparks of fire through rage-ஒள்வாள், s. Glittering swords, ஒள்ளியவாள். ஒள்ளியர், s. The virtuous, those renowned for subjecting their passions and practising deeds of virtue, according to the shasters, மாசற்றவர். 2.
