neḷi (p. 281) கிறேன், ந்தேன், வேன், நெளிய, v. n. To crawl with an undulating motion--as snakes, worms, maggots, &c., ஊர. 2. To writhe as the body through pain, to distort the limbs, &c., as a child, showing airs, கெந்த. 3. To hitch, move or shift from its place as an infant, நகர. 4. To be distorted by carrying a load; to be bent on one side, as a lame person, &c., கூன. 5. To be bent, inclined, warped--as timber, articles of furniture, &c., also to be crooked, as a road, channel, &c., வளைய. (c.) அதுநெளிந்துபோயிற்று.
