cāṭci (p. 174) --சாக்ஷி, s. An eye-witness, witness in court, &c., கண்டவன். 2. Deposition, attestation, testification, சொல்லுஞ்சா ட்சி. (c.) W. p. 915. SAKSHI. 3. Evidence, testimony, pledge, authority, உதார ணம். 4. The soul, as indentified with the deity, according to the Vedantic system, சீவசாட்சி. 5. Absorption, union with the deity, or the emjoyment of bliss as the result of the union, ஈச்சுரசாட்சி. 6. Pure spirit, intelligence; an intelligent being, சைதன்னியம். (ஞானவா.)
