Comforts and troubles, joys and sorrows, as attendant on the present life, or as awarded by the Deity for the actions of former births. சுகதுக்கஞ்சுழல்சக்கரம். Joys and sorrows are a turning wheel. சுகதுக்கி, s. One subject to joy and sorrow, a soul subject to births. (p.) சுகத்தாழ்வு, s. v. noun. Illness, want of sound health. சுகத்துக்குப்போக, inf. Stupidity, bluntness of intellect. மொட்டைமாடு, s. [also மோழை.] A cow, or any of the genus bos without horns. மொட்டையடிக்க, inf. To shave the head entirely, as the widows of brahmans, and of the கோமுட்டி caste. 2. To shave the head of a criminal, as a punishment. மொட்டையாய்ப்போக, inf. To become blunt. மொட்டையாய்வெட்ட, inf.
