Expiation for bodily impurity, especially the oblation offered by the heir at the first funeral obsequies to remove the impurity contracted during the period of mourning. (c.) அங்கமாலை, s. A பிரபந்தம் or poem describing the principal members of the body, such as the eye, face, breasts, &c., in the female, and shoulders, arms, breast, &c., in the male. The order of description must be from the feet to the hair of the head, or from the head to the feet. (p.) அங்கயோகம், s. The eight qualities of a Yogi. See யோகம். (p.) அங்கரக்கா, s. Cloth steeped in a medical preparation and put in the mouth for a sore throat, &c., அடைசுபொட்டணம். அடைத்தகுரல், s. A hoarse, husky voice. அடைபட, inf. To be closed, shut up, அடைக்கப்பட. 2. Asylum, refuge, place of shelter, புகலிடம். அடைக்கலக்குருவி--அடைக்கலங் குருவி, s. A Sparrow that resorts for protection to houses, &c., commonly, அடைக்கலாங்குருவி. அடைக்கலங்காக்க, inf. To protect a refugee, to take care of a deposit --on which the Indian law is very strict. அடைக்கலப்பொருள், s. A deposit, a thing deposited with one for safety. அடைக்கலம்புக, inf.
