[in philosophy, literature, &c.] The persons, for whom a work is written, as it regards competency, eligibility, worthiness, &c., as the ஞானநூல் for such as act up to the prescribed rules. The persons are three, கருமகாண்டி, பத்திகாண்டி, ஞானகாண்டி, who are the principal, and the following eight who are subordinates, கருமி, முமூட்சு, அப்பியாசி, அனுபவி, ஆரூடன், விவேகி, விரத்தன், தேவகதியன். 54) *

To call out, to cry out, to exclaim, to halloo, to shriek, to whoop, கூவ. 6. To cry--as certain animals, மிருகங்கூப்பிட; [ex கூப்பு. calling, et. இடு.] கூப்பிட்ட குரலுக்கொருவருமில்லை.
