arukku (p. 25) கிறேன், அருக்கினேன், வேன், அருக்க, v. a. To diminish, குறைக்க. 2. To make scarce, reduce in quantity, சுருக்க. 3. v. n. To keep back from others use, (as keeping up grain, making it scarce and dear,) to stand out in bargaining, stickle, haggle, அருக்காணிபண்ண. 4.
