uṟṇṭai (p. 67) s. Opposition, dissension, முரட்டுத்தனம். 2. Annoying, harassing, vexing; mischievous, or offensive, sport--as pinching, pushing, &c., தொந்தரவு செய்கை. 3. A kind of offensive smell--as of bugs, some kind of fish, rancid ghee, &c., துர்க்கந்தம். (c.) உறண்டைக்குநிற்க, inf. To disagree, dissent. உறண்டைத்தனம், s. A gross, sour disposition, முரண்டுத்தனம். உறண்டைநாற்றம், s. Stink, stench, offensive effluvia--as of dry fish, any thing rancid, &c. உறண்டையடிக்க--உறண்டைவீச, inf.
