Poverty, wretchedness, எளிமை. (p.) 8. [prov.] A lattice, grate, கிராதி. அளியோடுமீவன். I will bestow (it) freely. ஆஅ வளியவலவன். Oh! the poor, forlorn crab. அளியன், s. aḷi (p. 33) கிறது, ந்தது, யும், ய, v. n. To become over-ripe, mellow, mature, அறக் கனிய. 2. To be over-boiled as rice, become as pap, குழைய. அளிய இகழ்தலிற்கோறலினிது. It is better to suffer death than disgrace. சோறளிந்துபோயிற்று. The rice is over-boiled, or reduced to pap by over-boiling. அளிந்தபழம், s. A fruit well ripened or over ripened. 31)
