muṟukku (p. 359) கிறேன், முறுக்கினேன், வேன், முறுக்க, v. n. To wrest, distort, pervert, twist; to twist a rope, திரிக்க. 2. To chafe the limbs of another to promote the circulation of blood, முறுக்கிப்பிடிக்க. 3. v. n. To be angry, to chafe, to be irritable, பிணங்க. (c.) ஏன்நீமுறுக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறாய். Why are you angry? முறுக்கித்தேய்க்க, inf. To chafe the hands and legs in rubbing on oil for bathing. முறுக்கிவிட, inf. To screw the pins of a fiddle, &c. 2. (fig.)
