A large building or room for public purposes, a house, a hall, a theatre, &c., சபைகூடுமிடம். 4. A royal palace, அரமனை. 5. A hermitage, or place where austerities are practised, தவச்சாலை. 6. An alms-house, or place where benevolent acts are performed, அறத்தின்சாலை. 7. A stable, குதிரைச்சாலை. --Note.
