The point in reference to the zodiac, where a person stands to consult the astrologer--or the sign designated by that, mentioned at the time--one of the three parts in divination made by astrologers. See கவிப்பு and உத யம். ஆரூடம்பார்க்க, inf. To foretell, to divine by the aspect of the planets and the signs of the zodiac, in reference to the place where the person stands; also by consulting the five kinds of birds, according to the rules of augury. ஆரூடன், s.
