iyṟṟu (p. 48) கிறேன், இயற்றினேன், வே ன், இயற்ற, v. n. To do , make, effect, perform, execute, bring about, cause to take place, discharge a duty or obligation, exercise or use an art, செய்ய. 2. To transact, manage affairs, superintend, cause or excite one to do a thing, நடத்த. 3. To destine, appoint, assign, விதிக்க. (p.) இயற்றலுமீட்டலுங்காத்தலும். Devising means to increase the finances, collecting and keeping them. எல்லாத்தவமுமியற்றி. Performing every species of austerity. ஐந்துவேள்ளியுமியற்றி. Offering the five daily oblations. இறந்தவர்கள்காமுறுமிருங்கடனியற்றி. Duly discharging the debt demanded by departed spirits. இயற்றுதற்கருத்தா--இயற்றும்வினை முதல், s. [in grammar.] The agent, the actor in distinction from ஏவுதற்கருத்தா, commander-as செய்வதன், distinguished from செய்வித்தவன். இயற்றும்வினை, s. cey (p. 204) கிறேன், தேன், வேன், ய, v. a. To make, உண்டாக்க. 2. To practise, do, perpetrate, தொழில்செய்ய. 3. To perform, accomplish, effect, achieve, இயற்ற--Note. See குன்று. செய்கூலி, s. Hire for work done. 2. Hire for personal labor. செய்தகாரியம், s. A thing done. செய்தபிழை, s. A fault committed. செய்பிழையைப்பொறுத்துக்கொள்ளும். I beg your pardon; pray forgive, &c. செய்தவம், s. Penance, austerities performed, either in the present or any former life. செய்துகாட்ட, inf. To teach or exhibit by practice, action, &c. (c.) செய்துகொடுக்க, inf. To do or make for another. (c.) செய்துபழக, inf. To exercise one's self. 2. To practice. செய்துமுடிக்க, inf. To accomplish, execute, finish. செய்நன்றி, s. Benefits done. செய்நன்றிகொன்றார், appel. n. The ungrateful; (lit.) murderers of benefits. (p.) செய்நன்றியறிதல், v. noun. Showing gratitude for favors received. (p.) செய்பயிர், s. Growing crops, produce of cultivation as differing from spontaneous productions; trees raised with care by cultivation, especially the வே ம்பு, இருப்பை, பனை and புளி. செய்பவன், s. [in gram.] The nominative case, கருத்தா. செய்பாகம், s. Proper means employed to effect an object. 2. Medical knowledge; or skill in preparing medicines, &c., 3. Methodical arrangement. 4. Experimental knowledge. செய்பாகங்கைபாகமறியவேண்டும். One must be acquainted with the preparation and prescription of medicines. செய்பொருள், s. [in gram.] The objective case, செயப்படுபொருள். செய்யாமற்செய்தஉதவி, s. A favor conferred where none has been received. (c.) செய்யுங்காரியம், s. A thing that ought to be done, a duty. 2. A proper or lawful act. செய்யுஞ்சடங்கு, s. Appropriate ceremonies. (c.) செய்வன, s. (plu.) Things fit suitable to be done (p.) செய்வனதிருந்தச்செய். Do things that are right, with all your might. (Avv.) செய்விக்க, inf. To get done, to cause to be done. (c.) செய்வினை, s. Work, business, undertaking, action, avocation, calling, செய் தொழில். 2.
