To become rubbed or grazed against a thing, to be bruised, excoriated, grazed off, &c., தேய. 3. To rub against one another--as trees, உரோச. 4. To rub away, wear away by rubbing, grind away --as sandal, to triturate, அரைக்க. (p.) நறுங்குறடுரிஞ்சுபூந்தேய்வை. The soft paste produced by triturating the fragrant sandal wood.
