erukku (p. 73) s. A coarse, milky shrub, the charcoal of which is used in making gun-powder, ஓர்செடி, Calotropis gigantea. எருக்கமாலை, s. A garland of the flowers of the aforesaid shrub: 1. Worn by Siva. 2. Upon the neck of a malefactor before he is executed. 3. Used in adorning the corpse of a bachelor. எருக்கம்பால், s. Milk of the எருக் கு, useful in leprous and other cutaneous diseases, எருக்கினதுபால். எருக்கம்வேர், s. Root of the எருக் கு, employed medicinally for various purposes, எருக்கினதுவேர். வெள்ளெருக்கு, s. A white species of the above shrub. வெள்ளெருக்கஞ்சடைமுடியான்.
