kūẕai (p. 136) adj. Bob-tailed; shortened, or naturally defective; truncated, கடையின்மை யான. 2. (fig.) Dull, stupid, shallow, weak in intellect, புத்திக்குறைவான. Compare குள் ளம். புத்தியிலேஅவன்மெத்தக்கூழை. He is very shallow in wit. கூழைக்கடா, s. A large kind of water bird; the pelican, நீர்வாழ்பறவையிலொன்று. 2. A be-buffalo without a tail. கூழைக்கை--கூழங்கை, s. Maimed hand, குறைந்தகை. கூழைக்கொம்பன், s. An ox with blunt horn. கூழைநரி, s. A short-tailed fox. கூழையன், s. A short, stinted, shabby person. 2.
