A swelling in the cheek from the venereal disease, கன்னத்தில்வருமோர்நோய். கன்னக்கோல், s. An implement for breaking through the walls of houses, கன்னகம். கன்னக்கோல்வைக்க--கன்னமிட, inf. To commit burglary by breaking through a wall. கன்னசூலை, s. A tumor in the region of the cheek, one of the arthritic class of diseases. See சூலை. கன்னத்தட்டு, s. [as கன்னம்.] The dish of a balance, சிறுதராசுத்தட்டு. கன்னத்திலேயடிக்க--கன்னத்திலே யறைய--கன்னத்திற்போட inf. To slap the face, to box the ears. கன்னபரம்பரைஞானம்--கன்னபா ரம்பரியம். s. Tradition, oral transmission of intelligence, history, news, meaning, &c., பரம்பரைக்கேள்வியால்வந்தஞானம். கன்னபாகம், s. The ear, காது. கன்னபூரம், s. A kind of ear-ornament, காதணியினொன்று. 2. The temples, the upper part of the side of the head, காதினருகானபொறி. கன்னமதம், s. Secretion from the temples of the elephant, யானைமும்மதத்தி லொன்று. கன்னமீசை, s. [prov.] The whiskers. கன்னமூலம், s.
