ēmrl (p. 79) --ஏமருதல், v. noun. [a contr. of ஏமருவுதல்.] Being protected, defending one's self, காக்கப்படுதல். 2. Rejoicing, being elated. களித்தல். (p.) ஏமருங்கலாபமஞ்ஞை. The peacock rejoices with out-spread tail. (ஸ்காந்.) ஏமராமன்னன். The king who defends not himself. (குறள்.) 31)

kḷi (p. 100) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To joy, exult, rejoice, to be exhilarated, சந்தோஷிக்க. 2. To experience extatic joy, to glow with delight, மிகுமகிழ்வ டைய. 3. To be mirthful, jovial, gay ful of glee, களிப்்படைய. 4. (p.) To be proud, vain, conceited, intoxicated with pride, &c., செருக்குற. 5. To be wanton, frolicsome, wilful, licentious, இன்புற. 6. To be inebriated (with liquors, drugs, &c.), வெறி கொள்ள. 7. To revel, luxuriate--as bees, beetles, &c., feeding on the honey of flowers, களியாட. களித்தல், v. noun. Rejoicing, மதர் த்தல். 14)

ciṇāṭṭu (p. 182) கிறேன், சிணாட்டினேன், வே ன், சிணாட்ட, v. a. [loc.] To lay hold of, seize, take hold of again, பிடிக்க. நீங்கினவியாதியிவனைச்சிணாட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. The disease, which had left him, has returned again. சிணாட்டிப்பார்க்க, inf. To contrive mischief, to attempt a quarrel. (R.) சிணாட்டுதல், v. noun. A large, wanton eye-commonly of a female. மதத்தநோக்கு--மதத்தபார்வை, v. noun. Wanton, lascivious, amorous looks. மதத்தவள், s. [high dial. வாணினி.] A meretricious or immodest woman. மதத்துப்போக, inf.
