The yellow flower of a cucumber plant appears gold to a crow: i.e. trifles are of value in the eyes of a fool. காக்காய்க்குந்தன்குஞ்சுபொன்குஞ்சு. Even to a crow its young one is regarded as a golden one; i. e. the best. காக்காய்க்கொல்லி, s. A plant, ஓர் செடி, Anamirta cocculus, or Cocculus Indicus. 2.
