To rear, bring up a person from a child to a man, cherish, nourish. ஆட்பார்க்க, inf. To seek another. 2. To watch as a thief, guard himself against detection. 3. To look for persons for any bad purpose--as a prostitute, &c.--as Yama the god of death. ஆட்பார்த்துழலுமருளில்கூற்றுண்மையால். Since Yama the merciless god of death, who goes about looking for his victims, does actually exist. (நாலடி). ஆளரி, s. Vishnu in his incarnation as a lion. ஆளன்கீழப்பெண்சாதி, s. A wife. ஆளானவன், s. To get ashore, to land, to be landed, கரையைய டைய. 2. To be rescued from the sea of transmigrations, to be saved, நற்கதியடை ய. 3. To attain an object of desire, விரும்பியதடைய. 4. To rise from distress, sickness, indigent circumstances, &c., to be re-established in life, to become thrifty after poverty, or embarrassment, வருத்தத்தினின்றுநீங்க. 5. To get well married--as a poor girl, வாழ்வடைய. கரையேற்ற, inf. To save, rescue, restore, redeem, கதியிற் சேர்க்க. 2. He will lie in hell from which there is no possibility of escape. கரையோரம், s. Coast, brink, edge of the shore or bank. கரையோரத்திலேபோக, inf. To go along shore. கரைவலை, s.
