klai (p. 96) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To disperse, disorder, derange, break up, disorganize, scatter, confuse, disturb, rout, repulse, dissipate, defeat, drive away, dispel, chase away, குலைக்க. 2. To separate one from a company, to get one out, to detach, banish, exile, exclude, நீக்க. 3. To disunite, disjoin, part, பிரிக்க. 4. To get one dismissed from office, from school, &c., தள்ளுவிக்க. 5. To frustrate, thwart, எண்ணத்தைக்கலைக்க. 6. To put stringed instruments out of tune by use, சதிக லைக்க. 7. To distract or disturb the mind, மனதைக்கலைக்க. 8. To disturb a nest of birds, குருவிக்கூட்டைக்கலைக்க. ஈயைக்கலைத்துத்தேனெடுத்தான். He chased away the bees and took the honey. கூடினமேகங்களைக்காற்றுக்கலைத்தது.
