iṟaicci (p. 57) s. Flesh, meat, மாமிசம். 2. One of the seven constituent parts of the body. See தாது. இறைச்சிகுத்தி, s. A spit. இறைச்சிப்பொருள், s. The properties, productions derived from the கருப்பொருள் of a soil. (See அகப்பொருள்.) 2. [in rhetoric.] A figurative mode of speech by which a country is described in relation to the productions or properties derived from its கருப்பொருள்--as குறிஞ்சிப்பூக்கொண்டு பெருந்தேனிழைக்குநாடு, a country enriched with the sweetest honey extracted from its mountainflowers. uṟiñcu (p. 67) கிறேன், உறிஞ்சினேன், வே ன், உறிஞ்ச, v. a. To sip, suck up, draw into the mouth (as hot liquids or as from spoons, &c.), வாய்க்குள்ளிழுக்க. 2. To snuff up, sniff, inhale forcibly through the nose, ஆக்கிராணிக்க. 3. (fig.) To imbibe, absorb as a spunge, as the earth does rain, &c., உள்ளேயிழுக்க. நன்குறிஞ்சிப்பேய்த்தனஞ்சுவைத்தார்.
