He washed his hands, and came. (p.) இந்தக்காப்புக்குத்தங்கம்பூசுவிக்கவேண்டும். I wish to get this bracelet gilded. புடவைக்குக்கஞ்சிபூசினான். He starched the cloth. குற்றத்தைப்பூசிமெழுக, inf. To cover a fault, to palliate a crime. பூசிப்புணர்த்த, inf. To adorn with jewels or to perfume with sandal. பூச்சு, v. noun. Daubing, smearing, anointing, plastering, painting, தடவுகை. 2. pūcciyam (p. 329) s. Venerableness, that which is worthy of worship, மேன்மை. 2. Honor, reputation, கீர்த்தி. 3. Ostentation, display, ஆடம்பரம். W. p. 548. POOJYA. 4. Emptiness, or scantiness, as an auspicious term in denying a thing asked, இன் மை. 5. A concealment of one's poverty or defects, and assuming appearances, குற்றமறைக்கை. 6. [in astron.] A cipher in calculation, as standing in the place of a real number, but of no value. Thus sixty-three divided by seven, the quotient is nine, and பூச்சியம். 7.
