To regard, esteem, value, appreciate, respect, honor, நன்குமதிக்க. 4. To protect, secure, காக்க. 5. To wish for, to desire greatly, ஆசைபெருக. 6. To purpose, think, கருத. 7. To mark out, indicate, குறிக்க; [from Sa. Pen'a, to embrace.] பேணரவு, v. noun. [sometimes பேணல்.] Great desire; esteeming. பேணார்--பேணலர், appel. n. Foes, பகைவர். (p.) கர்த்தரைப்பேண, inf.
