(fem. குள்ளி.) A short man, குறளன். 2. An artful, cunning fellow, தந்திரக்காரன். 3. A cruel, mischievous person, கொடியன். குள்ளனைக்கொண்டாழம்பார்க்கிறான். He at-He attempts to find out the depth (of water) by sending (into it) a dwarf--said of one who employs a person unfit for his business. கள்ளன்பின்போனாலுங் குள்ளன்பின்போகப்படா து. Better is it to follow a thief than a dwarf--meaning it is a bad omen. குள்ளக்கெண்டை, s. A kind of fish. சித்திரக்குள்ளன், s. A dwarf. 2. A cunning fellow, தந்திரி.

A woman whose eyes resemble the கெண்டை fish. கெண்டைப்பீலி, s. A jewel fashioned like the கெண்டை fish, and worn by women on their toes. கெண்டைக்கால், s. The leg; also, the calf of the leg. கெண்டைவாதம், s. Rheumatic pains or spasms in the arms or legs; cramp. சூரத்துக்கெண்டை, s. Golden or silver thread from Surat. கெண்டைவியாதி--கெண்டைவிழுந்த நோவு, s.
