kūtl (p. 133) s. [prop. கூதிர். in Madras, ஊதல்.] Cold as felt--the effect in distinction from its cause, குளிர். 2. Chills before an intermittent fever, காய்ச்சற்குளிர். அறநனைந்தவருக்குக்கூதலென்ன. No cold to them that are completely wet; i. e. no fear or shame to the desperately wicked. கூதல்விறைக்க, inf. To stiffen with cold--hyperbolically, for very cold. கூதற்காய, inf. To warm one's self. 32)
