A plant, Achyranthes corymbosa, (L.) சடைத்தேங்காய், s. [prov.] A cocoanut whose husk abounds with fibres. சடைநாகம், s. A kind of ornament worn by women on the hair, ஓரணிகலம். சடைநாய், s. A shaggy dog. (c.) சடைபற்றிப்போக, inf. To grow bushy, shaggy, rough, as hair. 2. To become thick, as branches. சடைபில்லை--சடப்பில்லை, s. A kind or round golden ornament for the head of women.
