cnti (p. 159) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. v. n. To meet, to come, or be in contact; to join, to conjoin, எதிர்ப்பட. 2. To visit, have an interview with one, கண்டுகொள்ள. (c.) 3. To get, obtain, find; to be got, obtained, &c., அடைய. 4. To conduce, conspire, concur to one's end, சார்பாக. என்கண்ணுக்கெதிரேசந்தித்தது. It came directly before my eyes. சந்தித்துக்கொள்ள, inf. To meet, get an interview--commonly with a great person. 2. To be on the point of meeting, happening, &c. சந்திதம், s. That which is stringed or combined, கோக்கப்பட்டது. (R.) சந்திப்பு, v. noun. Meeting, junction, confluence, visiting, இசைப்பு. 2. A meeting of roads, rivers, &c., கூடுமிடம். 3. The junction of two yugas, &c., யுகசந் திப்பு. 4. Present given or sent, இனாம். இராசாவுக்கென்னசந்திப்பு. What present for the king? (c.) சந்திப்புக் கிடையாமலிருக்க, inf. To have no opportunity of meeting. சந்திப்புவைக்க, inf.
