Multitude, drove, flock, draft of fish, மீன்முதலியவற்றின்கூட்டம். (பார.) இனத்தார்சனத்தார், appel. n. Near and remote relations; also இளஞ்சனம். சனக்கட்டு, s. Numerousness of relations, a large family circle. சனசதளம், s. A crowd of people. See சதளம். சனக்கூட்டம்--சனத்திரள்--சனசமூகம், s. An assembly of people, a crowd. சனஞ்சாதி, s. One's own family and caste. சனசந்தடி, s. A thick crowd, a densethrong. See சந்தடி. சனஸ்தானம், s. An inhabited place as distinguished from wild tracts, சன மிருக்குமிடம். (p.) சனத்தோடேசனம், s. Associating with one's own people. சனத்துரோகி, s. A misanthrope, a malicious person. See துரோகி. சனநெருக்கம்--சனநெருக்கு, s. A crowd or pressure of people. சனபதம், s. Mankind, சனம், (பார.) 2. An inhabited region, நாடு. W. p. 339. JANAPADA. சனப்போக்குவரத்து, s. The frequent going and coming of people. சனமுள்ளவன், s. A man with many relations. சனவரத்து, s. An influx of people; [ex வரத்து.] சனஞ்சேர்க்க, inf. To levy an army, to collect forces. 2. To collect helpers, partisans, &c. 3. To collect constituents, to get voters. சனோபகாரம், s. Philanthrophy. வெகுசனம், s. Many people, a large household. வெகுசனவாக்கியங்கர்த்தவ்வியம். What many people approve is to be done. யதார்த்தவாதிவெகுசனவிரோதி.
