A bow or hoop, in which to place a pot suspended by a string from the roof of the house, from the hand, or at the end of a pole carried on the shoulder, தூக்கு. உருசைகண்டபூனையுறியையுறியைத்தாவுகிறது. The cat which has tasted nice things will continually jump on the shelf; i. e. stolen goods are sweet. உறிக்கலயம்--உறிச்சட்டி, s. Different kinds of kitchen utensils suspended in the hoop. உறிபோட, inf. To construct such a net work of rope or ratan. உறியடி--உறியித்திருநாள், s. The pot breaking--a ceremony performed at the close of a festival among the worshippers of Vishnu in honor of Krishna who is reputed to have stolen butter, ghee, &c., from suspended pots, ஓர்திருவிழா. உறியடிக்க, inf. To take by force, to usurp, to grasp, to extort, to rob, to plunder, to confiscate, வலிதிற்கவர. 5. To dig out, to excavate, தோண்ட. 6. To unload, unlade, discharge, இறக்க.--Note The most common compounds are, அஸ்தி வாரம்பறிக்க, to dig for a foundation; களைபறிக்க, to weed; தேங்காய்பறிக்க, to pluck cocoa-nuts; தட்டிப்பறிக்க, to get by stratagem; பூப்பறிக்க, மலர்பறிக்க, to crop flowers; பணம்பறிக்க, to juggle away money; மண்பறிக்க, to dig out earth; வெட்டிப்பறிக்க, to root up a tree, or undermine a wall. பறித்தகாட்டுக்குப்பயமில்லை. There is nothing to fear in a jungle, where a robbery has just been committed பறிமுதல், s. Confiscated property. 2. Things plundered from a single person. பறி, v. noun. Plucking. cropping. picking off, பிடுங்குகை 2. Seizure, plunder, usurpation, extortion, spoil, கொ ள்ளை. 3. What is unloaded or discharged from a cart, இறக்கியபாரம். பறிகாரன், s. An extortioner. 2. A highway-man. பறிகொடுத்தல், v. noun. Being robbed, bereaved, &c. பறிதலைச்சமணர்--பறிதலையர், s. One of the two classes of Jainas, so called because they pluck all the hair from their heads to avoid vermin and so to prevent taking away life. செடிகொள்பறிதலையமணர்.
