cātaṉai (p. 175) s. W. p. 916. SA'DHANA. Steady and presevering practice, unwearied application, steady zeal, constancy, persistence in an opinion; steadfast maintenance of doctrines, &c., விடாதமுயற்சி. 2. Perfect imitation of life, appearance of reality--as in dramatic actions, நடித்துக் காட்டுகை. 3. Retaining malice, சலஞ்சாதிக் கை. 4. Dissimulation, misrepresentation, falsehood, பொய். (c.) இல்லையென்றொரேசாதனையாய்ச் சாதிக்கிறான். He obstinately persists in denying. சாதனைக்காரன், s. One who practises any dexterous act, சாதகம்பண்ணுகிறவன். 2. A dissembler, a hypocrite, மாமாலி. 3. A tenacious person; one who steadfastly maintains an opinion, or perseveres in a practice. சாதனைத்தீர்ப்பு, v. noun. Obstinately affirming or denying. (R.) சாதனைபண்ண, inf. To practise a dexterous art; to habituate one's self to austerities. 2. To dissemble thoroughly. 3. To imitate to the life. 4. To maintain an assertion, whether true or false, பிடிவாதஞ்செய்ய. கற்பசாதனை, s. Strengthening the body by the use of drugs, &c., to promote longevity. See கற்பம். யோகசாதனை, s.
