cirāy (p. 185) s. [usage.] Splint, splinter, shivered chips of palmyra or other timber, மரச்சிராய். 2. Fibres constituting the solid and other parts of palmyra timber, பன ஞ்சிராய். 3. [prov.] The hard and undurated part in a bubo or cancer, பருவின்முளை. சிராயருகுகிறது. The splinter causes pain. சிராய்தைக்க, inf. To run as a splinter into the foot. சிராய்த்தூள்--சிராய்ப்பொடி, s. Small chips, splinters. சிராய்பிளக்க, inf. To cleave a tree, commonly for fuel. சிராய்ப்பாக்கு, s. Areca-nuts not well ripened. சிராய்ப்பீனசம், s.
