kūrmaṉ (p. 135) s. One of the ten vital airs; that which causes horripilation, and winking, தசவாயுவிலொன்று, (சது.)--Note. According to some, it produces bending, stretching, gaping, &c. 19) *

camāṉaṉ (p. 163) s. One of the ten vital-airs --that which is essential to digestion, and produces an equilibrium in the system, seated according to some, at the upper juncture between the trachea and the esophagus, தசவாயுவிலொன்று. (சது.) [ex சமா னம்.] W. p. 896. SAMA'NA. 23)

tēvatattaṉ (p. 259) s. The younger brother of Bud'dha, புத்தன்றம்பி. 2. One of the ten vital airs, that which is exhaled in yawning, தசவாயுவிலொன்று. 3. The air necessary for removing weariness and producing perspirtion. (See வாய்வு.) --Note. In வேதாந்தசூடாமணி it is given as that which produces smiling and speaking. 21) *
