He at-He attempts to find out the depth (of water) by sending (into it) a dwarf--said of one who employs a person unfit for his business. கள்ளன்பின்போனாலுங் குள்ளன்பின்போகப்படா து. Better is it to follow a thief than a dwarf--meaning it is a bad omen. குள்ளக்கெண்டை, s. A kind of fish. சித்திரக்குள்ளன், s. A dwarf. 2. A cunning fellow, தந்திரி.
