tuvrai (p. 249) s. A species of grain or lentil, ஓர்பயறு, Cytisus cajan, L. (c.) (Sa. Tuvara.) துவரமலார், s. A twig of the துவரை. துவரம்பருப்பு, s. The pea of the துவ ரை, often called dholl. கருந்துவரை, s. A plant, Hedysarum biflor. (Willd.) 2. A tree, Dalbergia latifolia. காட்டுத்துவரை, s. A plant, Glycine parviflora, L. காலியாந்துவரை, s. [prov.] A wild kind of துவரை. மலைத்துவரை, s. Another variety of this plant. 59) *

Ten astringents are given, as used in medicine. 1. நாவல், bark of the நாவல்; 2. கடுக்காய், fruit of the கடு, Indian gall-nut; 3. நெல்லி, fruit of the நெல்லி; 4. தான்றிக்காய், fruit of the தான் றி; 5. ஆல், buds of the banyan; 6. அரசு, buds of the அரசு; 7. அத்தி, bark of the அத்தி; 8. இத்தி, bark of the இத்தி; 9. முத் தக்காசு, root of the கோரை; 1. மாந்தளிர். tender leaves of the mango tree. (சது.) அவனுடம்பிலேதுவரேறியிருக்கிறது. He is in high spirits. துவரெண்ணெய், s. A medicinal astringent oil used for sores. துவர்க்கட்டி, s.
