tūkku (p. 252) கிறேன், தூக்கினேன், வேன், தூக்க, v. a. To lift, lift up, raise, take up, hold up, உயர்த்த. 2. To weigh, to balance, நிறுக்க. 3. To hang, as a criminal, to suspend any substance, தூக்கிலேபோட. 4. To hoist a flag, suspend hangings, jewels, &c., to hoist sail, ஏற்ற. 5. To lift one up, help one up, as from a pit, &c., எடுத்துவிட. (c.) 6. To weigh anchor, நங்கூரம்வலிக்க. 7. (fig.) To deliberate, consider, investigate, ஆராய்ச்சிசெய்ய. தூக்கிவினைசெய். Act after proper consideration. சீர்தூக்கிப்பார்த்தான்.
