Mental delusion, stupor, infatuation, stupidity, drowsiness, intoxication; aberration of mind from ignorance, fascination, fainting or other disturbing cause; a besotted state, உன் மத்தம். 2. Confusion in nature--as in the blending of sexes among animals or vegetables, கலப்பு. 3. [in gram.] Combination of letters, coalescence, சையோகம்; also உட னிலைமயக்கம், இடைநிலைமயக்கம். மயக்கமின்மை, v. noun. neg. Absence of delusion, infatuation, intoxication, &c. 2. Clearness of understanding, intellectual brightness, mental illumination, தெருளுடைமை. மயக்கம்பூணுதல்--மயக்குறல், v. noun. Being overcome by intoxication, infatuation, &c., being phrenzied. மயக்கவணி, s. [in rhetoric.] A fault in speech, mistaking one object for another; [ex அணி.]--Note. According to a work called குவலையானந்தம், it is one of a hundred rhetorical figures. 2)
