To encourage, to animate, to cheer, to embolden. திடத்துவம், s. Strength, power, vigor, ability, வல்லமை. திடநம்பிக்கை, s. Strong confidence, assured hope. திடபரம்--திடவரம், s. (Tel.) Certainty, positiveness, infallibility, நிச்சயம். 2. Firmness, boldness, correctness, உறுதி. திடபுருஷன், s. A strong, or powerful man, தைரியவான். திடப்பட, inf. To be firm, steady, settled, நிலைவரப்பட. 2. To be confirmed. திடப்படுத்தல், v. noun. Invigorating, strengthening. 2. Ratifying, sanctioning, corroborating. 3. (Christ. usage.) Confirmation, உறுதிபூசுதல். திடப்படுத்திவிட, inf. To encourage and send away. திடமனம், s. A firm, steady, fixed, undaunted mind. திடமாய்ப்பேச, inf. To speak boldly, courageously. திடவிலை, s.
