The exact number of days elapsed in an epoch, or in any fixed portion of time --considered as an element for finding the longitude, &c., of the sun, moon, planets, &c. சுத்தத்தோடிருக்க, inf. The correct or genuine reading. சுத்தபோசனம், s. Sacred food--commonly used in reference to offerings made in the temples. சுத்தபௌரணை, s. The oppositions of the sun and moon. சுத்தபுடம், s. [in astron.] The real situation (longitude) of a planet, &c., as differing from its mean place. சுத்தப்பட, inf. To be cleaned. சுத்தப்படச்செய்ய, inf. To make a thing neatly. 2. [in carpentry.] To plane the wood smoothly. சுத்தப்பிரதி, s. A fair copy. (c.) சுத்தபூமி, s. Cleared land. (p.) சுத்தப்படுத்த--சுத்தம்பண்ண, inf. To cleanse, to clear away, make clean. சுத்தப்பிழை, s. Complete error. (c.) சுத்தப்பொய், s. A downright lie. (c.) சுத்தமத்தளம், s. A superior kind of மத்தளம். சுத்தமனம், s. A frank, sincere mind, கபடமின்மை. 2. A pure mind. சுத்தமாயை, s. Pure spiritual Maya. See மாயை. சுத்தமாய், adv. Wholly, entirely, utterly, absolutely. 2. At all, in the least. (c.) இன்றைக்கெனக்குச்சுத்தமாச்சாப்பாட்டுக்கில்லை. I am, to day, entirely destitute of food. சுத்தமார்க்கம், s. Pure conduct, spotless morality. 2. Sincere piety. 3. The true system of religion. சுத்தம்பண்ண, inf. That which is entirely white. (c.) சுத்தன், s. A pure person, a sincere person, பரிசுத்தன். (c.) 2. One ripe for liberation from births, a soul in the third, or highest stage, next to absorption, நின்மலன். 3. Siva, அரன். 4. Brahma, ஐயன். 5. Argha, அருகன். 6. Vishnu, அரி. கைச்சுத்தம், s.
