tōy (p. 264) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To dip, to immerse, to beat clothes in washing, to curdle milk, to temper steel, &c., as 1, 2, 3, and 4, of துவை, v. which see. 2. To soak, to drench, to steep, நனைக்க. 3. [in combination.] To dye, to tinge, to stain, to imbue, சாயமேற்ற. (c.) தோய்த்தடிக்க, inf. To splash, to bespatter. தோய்த்துக்கட்ட, inf.
