[prov.] Tobacco leaf in which the fibres are prominent, ஓர்வகைப்புகையிலை. நரம்பினாதம்--நரம்பினோசை, s. The sound of the string of a musical instrument. நரம்புக்கயிறு, s. Cords sewed into the seams of a sail-cloth. 2. As நரம்பு. 2. நரம்புக்காய், s. A long thin fruit, as that of the முருங்கை. நரம்புச்சிலந்தி, s. [sometimes நரம்புச் சிலந்தி.] A long slender worm between the skin and muscles, guinea worm, ஓர்புண். (c.) 2. Boil on a nerve. நரம்புச்சுளுக்கு, s. Contraction of a ligament, or muscle. See சுளுக்கு. நரம்புப்பற்ற, inf. To become meagre, emaciated. நரம்புப்பிடிப்பு, v. noun. Cramp, spasm, convulsion, contraction of a muscle. நரம்புப்புடைத்தல், v. noun. Swelling of the veins, becoming prominent as the veins from straining or over-fulness as in singing, &c., or of a pregnant woman. நரம்புமுடக்கம், s.
