Four kinds of style, 1. பலா பாகம் or பனசபாகம், an easy style like the jack fruit; 2. சிலாபாகம், a hard style, like stone; 3. கதலிபாகம், a very easy style, like a plantain; 4. நாரிகேளபாகம்--நாளிகேர பாகம், a difficult style as coco-nut, which must be broken. பாகங்கொடுக்க, inf. To give portions of food to the gods, by casting them into the fire, அலிப்பாகங்கொடுக்க. பாகசாலை--பாகஸ்தானம், s. A cooking room, மடைப்பள்ளி. பாகபாண்டம், s. Cooking vessels, and other needed utensils, சட்டிபானைமுதலிய சமையற்பாத்திரம். பாகபேதம், s. Difference in cooking, as by different cooks, சமையல்வித்தியாசம். பாகப்படுத்த--பாகமாக்க, inf.
