nẕuvu (p. 271) கிறேன், நழுவினேன், வேன், நழுவ, v. n. to slip cut of the hand, or from under the foot--as an oily or lubricous thing; to slip down, fall off, as a garment, நழுவ. 2. To come off, as hair, விழ. 3. To steal or skulk away; to elude, to escape, விலக. 4. (fig.) To evade, to shift, to give an indirect answer, to shuffle off, தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள. (c.) நழுவல், v. noun. A slipping, evading, &c., as the verb. காரியத்தைநழுவலிலேவிடாதே. Don't let the affair lie still. நழுவலானபேச்சு, s. Shuffling talk. நழுவி, appel. n. vẕuvu (p. 379) கிறேன், வழுவினேன், வேன், வழுவ, v. n. [poetice வழூஉ.] To miss, as a step, to fail, to be turned out of a course, to be turned aside; to err, to swerve from rule or duty, to sway aside or down, as a load, தவற, விலக. (c.) அவன்வழுவிப்போனான். He has back-slidden. வழுவிவழுவிப்போகிறது.......Falling off--as a garment; slipping out of the hand--as a fish. வழுவல்--வழுவுதல், v. noun. Sliding down, நழுவல். 2.
