putitu (p. 324) --புதிசு, s. [com. புதுசு.] Any thing new, novel, uncommon, நவமானது. 2. First fruits of a rice-crop, a handful of which when boiled, and before eating, is presented in oblation to a lamp, personifying the god of fire, முதல்விளைச்சற்காணிக்கை; commonly புதிர், for புதியகதிர், [ex புதுமை.] புதிதாக்க, inf.
