A seedy or stony fruit; any fruit the stones or seeds of which are large, or numerous, in proportion to the pulp. கொட்டைக்கச்சி--கொட்டைக்கையில், s. [prov. vul.] The half of a cocoanut shell. See கொட்டங்கைச்சி. கொட்டைக்குவிட, inf. To let a plant go to seed. கொட்டைச்செத்தல்--கொட்டைத்தேங் காய், s. [prov.] A dry cocoanut in which the kernel rattles, கொப்பரைத்தேங்காய். கொட்டைநூற்க, inf. To spin cotton, flax, &c. கப்பலோடிப்பட்டகடன் கொட்டைநூற்றுத்தீரு மோ. Will the debt contracted by a ship merchant be paid by spinning cotton? கொட்டைபுதைக்க--கொட்டைதாழ்க்க, inf.
